Hi, I’m Amy...
When I first started using essential oils in 1994 there wasn’t any information about using them with pets.
I was blessed to learn about aromatherapy from a friend who was earning her clinical aromatherapy certification to use in her hospital nursing career. As she learned, I learned.
Nearly 10 years later I took a class using essential oils with animals.
I was so excited to learn how to use essential oils with my dog… until the instructor contradicted all the safety practices I'd learned.
I couldn’t understand why essential oils needed to be diluted for people but not for dogs. After all, dogs are far more sensitive to smell than we are.
Not having answers was SO FRUSTRATING to me I invested hundreds of hours to become a Certified Animal Aromatherapist through the National Association of Holistic Aromatherapy (NAHA).
